Please stop saying such things just to tease people.
And let's be realistic.
First of all, to evaluate properly the amount of money obtained in 1 hour, we need to consider only cash and the items which have a merchant/trader value, like
- normal drops
- rare materials
- some dyes
- rare scrolls
- lockpicks
- some runes
and not those rare items which have a merchant value of 300g but can be sold on the market for tenth or hundreds of k.
An example: I used to farm dragons outside Saint Anjeka Shrine, and collecting all cash and junk items it gave 12-15k per hour.
I got once a r9 gothic sword 15>50 that I sold for 100k, but I cannot count it in the average income, otherwise I could say I was able to make 100k in 2 minutes.
Let's do some math: now that we have loot scale, we have (according to what I read about it) an average of 1 drop every 4 monster killed.
Let's say that the average value of the drop, be it cash or junk item with merchant value, is 100g.
To get 90k per hour, in an hour you have to kill 900 monsters that give you a drop, so 3600 monsters in total.
This means 1 kill each second without stopping.
So, unless you have included in your 90k some gold items you sold for high prices to other players, or you have found an area in which lockpicks, or steel ingots, or damask or black/white dyes or superior vigors drop like crazy, your 90k average is completely unrealistic.

I really wish I could stand farming. I want Vabbi armor for my dervish so very much, but I know I'll NEVER afford the gems I need for it. Discouraging. Anet, why must you hurt me so? ;__;

Well I don't really need to farm now, since i got almost all I wanted, only thing that remain is Vabbi for dervish. Now, that is a kinda problem because my income is very unsteady. I don't farm, i play Urgoz Warren on HM, so if I complete it, that automatically means 50+ K in my pocket, but in most cases we fail, because i always go with PUGs (No, i can't go with guild group, only guild member is my gf )
That, and occasional Totem Axe i sell is all that fills my budget.

I have never been a really hard core farmer, but pre-nerf I could bring in 10-15K an hour if I put my mind to it.
Other than farming for a Colossal Scimitar for my IW Mesmer, I have not farmed since the loot scaling change. I find it simply too frustrating now.
Fortunately my main character has pretty much everything he needs, and I am quite happy for my other characters to wear 1.5K armour.
I spend most of my time doing ABs now.

I only have 400k + 70 ectos. I had way more than that last year (I do tons of sales), since minipet were popular back then (e.g. Siege Turtle 60K, Mini Shiro 100k+ 2 ectos)

This is proof to me that most people who complain about the nerf are being ridiculous (Just using your #s as an example Markrids, I don't know your views on the whole thing). Why in world would anyone consider earning 30k/Hour reasonable? There is absolutely no need to have that kind of money. Especially in Guild Wars. Even for getting 15k armor.. you're not supposed to get these things in a few hours!
Now NF gives you up to 20k & 9 Golds free every 1-2 months and people still complain?
All the loot nerf QQ is laughable.

I make about the same amount of gold. Lately i've been HM farming LB/SS points out of Remains of Sahlahja. I've been pulling in about 1 - 3k per run just selling to the merchants. That's not counting the runes, tomes, and rare crafting materials that are slowly stacking up in my storage. So i'm actualy doing pretty good. For me anyway.
When i'm just playing casualy through quests and stuff I make about 300 - 3k gold in merchant trash. However I "usualy" don't come out with the extra stuff.

Appologies if you have read my post the wrong way, but Im not complaining about the changes, Im mearly compairing my earnings to that of others. Now why would I need 30k/Hour? Well, apart from fitting out 9 characters + XX heroes with armour and weapons and unlocking skills for said characters, I need(ed) money. Even if I didnt spend 30k every Hour, it was nice to have it there just in case sounething grabbed my fancy. What you must remember is that the value of items much much greater before, therfor 30k wouldnt buy you as much as it would now. Its all about inflation.

In all honesty Farming UW and getting free treasure is the only half decent way to make any sort of money, which is a shame.

I farm tomes/dead bows at the Springs... I make about 10k an hour. Its not bad. But I don't sell what I get, I use it for my ranger. In total I've gotten 6 perfect 20/20 sundering bow strings, and 9 +30 fortitude bow grips. I love the place, when GW:EN comes out, my ranger is gunna be a happy camper with rare bow skins.

I don't really track it per hour, but I'm sure I'm making money faster now than before.
I used to do quests and missions with full size groups. Now I do vanquishing and missions with full size groups in hard mode. Much better.
I never much cared for solo farming. I make enough money for elite armor and fully tricked-out heroes for all of my characters without having to solo farm. How much money do you need?

I'm a casual player who sometimes plays from 3 hours a week and sometimes plays for a couple hours a day. Since I don't spend hours on end playing and I don't have guaranteed playtime every day, I don't really feel I have the time to farm (though admit that I have). Instead, I usually just play thru the game and work on my different characters based on my mood.
Before the Loot Scaling, however, I would make about 10k in a couple hours of gameplay. Now, I am lucky to make 2k in a couple hours of casual and this is an extremely deterring factor. All of my in game mates confirm that they have also been this badly affected by the Loot Scaling.
aNet claims that they created the Loot Scaling with the "casual player" in mind, but I have still seen no solution or explanation to why it is that the casual players have been, in contrasting, affected the least favourably. Instead, the only way to make substantial money is to become a farmer or trade spammer.

i used to make any where between 50-200k every few day. ( you need about 100k to begin with to make any serious money)
buy materials from people. make into a consets sell consets between 6-8k each. and around 3-5k profit, depending on how much i buy my materials for and how much u sell the sets for ( and how meny ppl are buying) but yea you could easy make a few mill in a month. but its REALY boring and extremly tedious

Ever since I found a spot where black and white dyes drop abundantly for me I've made 10k-20k (playing HM for the elite tome drops) in a hour or thereabouts. I can do probably 20 runs an hour in this one spot. Run out kill gather drops rince and repeat. Lol SonofAxes don't tell them they'll just ruin your farm cause 10 zillion people will start farming if you tell them where you make your money. That's really why they toss up these kinds of threads to get free information about where the good places are. I spent a lot of time an effort to find my spot(s) and I ain't tellin anyone where they are. You can believe me or not...don't really care I know what is what and where it is now. <grin>
